A week at the beach...

Mommy and Joshua got together with friends, Shevaun, Rowan, and Elaine and spent the past week at Edisto Beach. We got a cute cabin at the state park and had an amazing time. I took tons of pictures, so bear with me...

Joshua didn't need any help livin the beach bum life...

Shevaun and Rowan...

Good to have a co-conspirator on vacation.

We rode bikes...oh and did we ride bikes. The round trip was about 9 miles...did it a few times. The boys loved it...Joshua called the bikes, "race cars" and Rowan referred to our beach cabin as the "pirate ship." People thought we were crazy when we would say, "lets get back on the race cars and ride to the pirate ship."

We flew kites...Shevaun really got into the kites. The boys loved it. I failed to get some good success pics, but there were some. J's kite was Buzz Lightyear and R's was Spiderman.

Two Beach Must Have's: A screened in play-porch and Cheetos (with portable DVD player)!

The boys loved the water. Rowan would play superhero in the waves and Joshua loved chasing them as usual.
Joshua loved wearing hats...well, sometimes.

Eating Fruit-Roll-Ups is messy...

Who gave them sticks?

Happy Mommy's Day!
As Shevaun and Rowan prepare for their move to Wisconsin and we prepare for ours, the ending of our beach vacation was truly bittersweet. I am so happy that we got to spend the week together...something I will never forget...one of the best vacations I have ever had. Hopefully only more to come...

Paw says that the last pictures look like two gang members!!! They are all so cute. I can still see Ryan in some of those pictures.
