Whoop!

Joshua and I went to our first Aggie football game this evening. We made it through 3+ hours of tailgating and whole quarter and a half + halftime show. He had a really good time, but I was worn out chasing him. Here are some pics from this afternoon.

On the left, the first self-portrait. Early tailgating. Below Joshua is making himself home at a Regent's tent.

A new colleague, Becca was a great help. J loved her piggy-back rides.
He also had a fan, Jennifer, who he "escorted" Aggie style through the parking lot. :)

Self-Portrait # 2...in the stands.
After few laps up and down the ramps, we went up to an upper level to watch the band at half time. Truly impressive! Joshua really thought it was cool.

After half time we left. A beautiful walk through campus! The shots were fuzzy, but this is the best I got...chasing him around didn't help.

Finally, big thanks to Tasha and Matt for Joshua' s "Howdy" shirt. Too cute!

A Busy Day in Sodor

Joshua got some new additions to his wooden train set collection. Mommy just couldn't help herself...she HAD to figure out a new configuration for the table so that the new water tower and mine tunnel bridge could be integrated.

Happy Birthday Joshua!

For his birthday, Joshua got to skip school and spend the day at home with new toys and Daddies. Today his gift from all the Amarillo Aunties and Uncles arrived---a Thomas the Train tent...HE LOVES IT. So much so that he took a nap in it today....
Just to emphasize how much this boy loves his trains, notice what he is clutching faithfully - yep, a Thomas the Train (this was the one that was on top of the cake from yesterday, and it has not left his side since he liberated it after blowing out the candles). And this nap did not happen until after we read three Thomas the Tank Engine stories.

Happy Birthday Donut! Such a sweet boy...

Joshua's 3rd Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Joshua's birthday with friends. We had a fantastic partry...Thomas the Train was everywhere...Joshua was very excited. I am abosuletly exhausted...so few words this time...just pics.

When Joshua saw his cake he didn't want to leave the table. For a good while he thought it was Thomas's birthday, not his own. :)
