Boo at the Zoo

Tonight we went to "Boo at the Zoo" to mark the beginning of Joshua's first Halloween celebration (last year didn't really count). He was appropriately dressed and acted the part :P.

A day in the life of a little purple fish

I am a litte purple fish. Once I lived in a bath tub, but now I am free.

I sit in chairs and ride trikes...

I sweep floors...

And sometimes I even get fed to giraffes.

But I know Joshua loves me.

Even if he leaves me here til morning...

(besides its better than being eaten by that scary shark :) ).

13 Months!

13 months already!!! I apologize for not getting pics up for the past month, but we have been quite busy :). Joshua has 3 more teeth, 10 times the attitude, but still no words :). He is running around like crazy and is managing to injure himself more regularly. I think we can officially say that he is 1: a climber, 2: obsessed with anything that he can "drive" (i.e., push around on wheels), and 3: a cheese head (actually, he loves all kinds of food, but nothing lights up his day more than cheddar cheese and wheat bread).

"Bone to Be Wild" - Aunt Amanda will be happy to know that J has Halloween pjs (after oct. 31st, we are going to call them his "punk pajamas" :) ). Pic above from after bathtime (and subsequent getting-dressed-fit) with Daddies.

"I am the Tampon King"
(All the toys..and all he really wants to play with is...)

Mi (Great-Grandmother) came to visit us for a week. In fact, she stayed with J while Momma went to a conference. Here they are showing each other how to open wide :)

On the merry-go-round at the zoo...one of his favorite things to do.

At the playground at the zoo. WOW - how handsome he looks in those colors. :). Grandpa knows how to outfit this boy ;)

Must be a true blue Cowboy fan wearing that number :)

Morning play time. He is not hurting in the toy department.

Unrelated to Joshua...but...these flowers bloomed in the middle of my yard. They are very beautiful and were not a part of the lawn last seaons...Any guesses as to what they are?
